About this role

The Recruiter at Noveon Magnetics will own the end-to-end recruitment process while driving the strategic and operational foundation of the company's hiring engine. In this high impact role, the Recruiter will manage a Recruiting Coordinator, lead headcount alignment meetings, and consult directly with hiring managers on job architecture, market pricing, and compensation leveling during intake calls. Balance day-to-day execution with recruiting operations while optimizing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for maximum efficiency and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to offer.

A successful candidate will be a data-driven partner and process optimizer who can easily pivot from high-level headcount strategy to the daily execution needed to scale teams effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Full-Cycle Recruiting

● Managing full-cycle recruiting for hourly production, skilled trades, and salaried roles, from requisition intake through offer.

● Sourcing candidates through job boards, local job fairs, technical/trade schools, staffing agencies, and community partnerships.

● Screening resumes and applications, conduct phone/in-person interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews and feedback.

● Providing candidates a realistic preview of production floor conditions, shift schedules, and physical demands during the interview process, to reduce early voluntary turnover driven by expectation mismatches.

● Extending verbal and written offers.

Staffing Partnerships & Talent Pipeline

● Partnering with hiring managers during intake calls to evaluate role requirements, conduct real-time compensation analysis, and establish appropriate job leveling and competitive salary ranges.

● Collaborating with production supervisors to understand staffing needs, shift requirements, and role qualifications.

● Managing relationships with temporary staffing agencies, including order placement, fill-rate tracking, and quality feedback.

● Supporting employer branding efforts, including job postings, career fair participation, and community outreach to build the local candidate pipeline.

New Hire Handoff & Cross-Functional Coordination

● Coordinating with the Training & Learning Coordinator and HR Assistant to ensure a smooth handoff from offer acceptance to new-hire orientation.




● Coordinating on ATS-to-Paycor workflow configuration (req creation, offer-letter approvals) as that moves from manual to automated.

Data, Compliance, & Reporting

● Maintaining accurate and timely candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer-acceptance rate). ● Managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data integrity, continuously optimizing workflows and implementing system changes to maximize recruiting efficiency.

● Maintaining hire-volume and requisition data by department and month in the ATS to support accurate new-hire attrition rate reporting, partnering with the HR Manager on board-facing retention metrics

● Ensuring recruiting practices comply with EEO, ADA, applicable employment law, and FCRA requirements for background check disclosure, authorization, and adverse action.

● Tracking and reporting on turnover trends related to hiring quality and recommend sourcing or process adjustments.

We are Looking for Someone Who:

● Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a recruiting role.

● Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.

● Is familiar with recruiting pipeline management software and recruiting operations. ● Can demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, G-suite, Slack, Adobe Acrobat and more.

● Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Demonstrates a high level of organization.

● Has exceptional interpersonal skills.

● Has a positive attitude and willingness to help.

● Is detail oriented and can demonstrate meticulous pipeline management and communication.

Work Environment:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift/move up to 15 pounds at times.
