Job Summary
Utilities and public agencies buy transformers through a maze of RFP portals, compliance forms, and approved-vendor lists—and they move on their own clock. We need someone to turn that maze into a clean, fast pipeline of bids Fluxco can win. You'll find every relevant transformer solicitation, read the fine print, and get a fully compliant bid out the door on time—every time. It's exacting work: in public bidding, one missing form or a late upload loses the deal no matter how good the price. Get it right and you open a channel most startups can't touch—the utilities and agencies rebuilding the grid.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor bid platforms—BidNet Direct, GovWin, PlanetBids, Bonfire, DemandStar, and utility supplier portals—for every relevant transformer and substation-equipment solicitation.
- Maintain a clean tracker of open opportunities: issuing agency, scope, MVA/kV ratings, due dates, bond and registration requirements, and status.
- Read each RFP, ITB, and RFQ closely and pull out what matters—specs, certifications, delivery terms, qualification criteria, and required forms.
- Assemble fully compliant bid packages, formatted to each solicitation's exact submission rules.
- Pull the inputs you need from across Fluxco—quotes and lead times from supply, technical specs from engineering, pricing sign-off from leadership.
- Manage every submission to the deadline: portal registrations, uploads, confirmations, and a clean record of wins, losses, and debriefs.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years in a coordination, procurement, proposal, or bid role—public-sector or government bidding a real plus.
- Precision under deadline: You're relentless about detail and you don't miss dates. Compliance in public bidding is pass/fail, and you treat it that way.
- Organization: You can run dozens of live solicitations at once without losing the thread, and you build trackers other people can actually use.
- Self-starter: You'll stand up this desk reporting straight to the Head of Sales—comfortable owning a process without a manager hovering.
